QAST

I have been learning American Sign Language (ASL) for 5 years. Many friends have encouraged me to invest in learning interpreting the language as well. It has been quite an interesting endeavor. I have become so much more sympathetic to my interpreter friends.

A few weeks ago I passed the written portion - which was not trivial. Today I took the performance portion of the QAST (Quality Assurance Screening Test) (other link) and it was mentally exhausting.

The realms of personal information security, privacy, separation of duties and least privilege are engrained throughout the process. I will know my score probably mid-February.
